With deep local knowledge and a passion for the sport, Captain Chris delivers a fun, stress-free day on the water focused on making memories and putting fish in the boat.

About Captain Chris Ivey

Captain Ivey is a 30 year law enforcement veteran and fishing enthusiast with a love for teaching and helping others experience the great inshore fishing resource we have in Eastern North Carolina. He concentrates on artificial lure fishing methods to target spotted sea trout, red drum (both slot and old drum), flounder, and striper. He can also switch gears and fish live and cut bait to target the same species. Captain Ivey has been fishing his entire life and has over 25 years of experience in the inland coastal waters of NC to include the Pamlico, Pungo, and Neuse Rivers as well as the Pamlico Sound. His fishing resume includes years of inshore tournament experience so if you’re an experienced fisherman chasing a trophy fish, he can help you chase your personal best.

The Boat

You will fish on a custom built Mamba 227 VX. The boat is one of the fastest, best fishing platforms you will ever experience for shallow water fishing like we do in Eastern North Carolina. Made by Waypoint Marine in Corpus Christi, Texas, no expenses are spared to make the Mamba one of the best inshore fishing boats in the world.
